Meet Mike Diffley
I have been the Head Golf Professional at the Pelham Country Club since 1988. A graduate of St. John’s University, and one of 2 golfers selected to be in the Athletic Hall of Fame. Before heading to St. John's I attended Christ the King High School in Queens, NY where I grew up. I began my professional career playing on the Florida Mini-Tours as well as the Sunshine Tour in South Africa in the mid 1980′s. I worked as an Assistant Professional at Nassau CC and Cherry Valley Club both in Long Island, NY, and was the Head Professional at Kissena Park in Queens for one season before I came to Pelham.

Student Testimonials

Consistent mental coaching sessions have become and will continue to be the foundation of my approach to competitive golf. Setting realistic goals, developing a plan for success, and engaging in hypnosis have allowed me to reduce fear and doubt on the golf course. Mike has helped me to see each shot as an opportunity for success. Thanks Mike
I owe a lot of my success in 2012 to Mike. He helped me achieve my goals and improved my mental state on the golf course. He is a master short game player and a fantastic teacher. Mike will help lower your scores and more importantly have more fun on the golf course.
Mike has been that consistent rock for me throughout my junior career. He has given me guidance and instilled confidence in me through all the ups and downs of being a professional athlete. He has helped me tremendously with my short game and specifically my mental game. Mike’s approach to the game is to keep it simple and keep smiling - that’s a formula I take with me to the course each and every day.
